In fulfilling our mission statement, we would like to ask a couple of questions.
- Do you know for certain that you have eternal life?
- If you stood before God and He asked, "Why should I let you into My heaven", what would you say?
- If you could not answer these questions, look what the Bible says:
Romans 3:23 For all have sinned; all fall short of God's glorious standard.
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Romans 5:8 But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.
Romans 10:9-10 For if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved.
Romans 10:13 For anyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.
If this is what you have done, then pray:
"Lord Jesus, I now know I am a sinner and have sinned against you in many ways. Please forgive me of my sins. I believe that you died for the penalty of my sin. This day, I now put my trust in you and by faith and belief in you, Jesus, I ask would you come into my heart and life and be my Lord and Savior and make me a Christian. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen."
