Often I am, asked, “How many ministers do you have at Mount Harmony?” At first, I am tempted to say 5 or 6 or whatever number of staff we have at the time. That answer would be incorrect.
According to Scripture, every member is a minister, and that means that we have over 1000 members who are ministers. Our Staff ministers by leading, teaching, training, and encouraging our people in their relationship with Jesus and in their personal ministry for Him. At Mount Harmony, we use the term Pastor to designate ordained staff and the term Minister to designate non-ordained staff, but together, with the people in our church family, we are one team with one purpose - to glorify Jesus Christ in everything we say, believe, and do.
Mount Harmony is one of the best kept secrets in Matthews, but we don’t want it to stay that way. We want to invite you to attend one of our services. You may find that this church feels like home to you and your family. Our desire is to be a place where people like you can worship in a meaningful way, where you can learn the principles of God’s Word, where you can find a place of service to use your spiritual gifts, and where you can find new friends and form lasting relationships.
